The Twelve
Animal Seals

Not twelve destinies. Twelve names for the Earthly Branches.Follow the first thread
01AN ANIMAL IS ONE BRANCH

Your familiar birth-year animal is the Earthly Branch of the Year Pillar.

Saju contains an Earthly Branch in every pillar: Year, Month, Day, and—when birth time is known—Hour. The popular zodiac animal usually names only the Year Branch. It is a welcoming doorway into the system, but it is not the whole chart and cannot describe a whole person by itself.

02THE TWELVE GUARDIAN SEALS

Choose an animal seal

Each animal preserves the name of one Earthly Branch and its place in a repeating cycle.

Select any seal to see its branch, yin or yang quality, Five Element, season, traditional two-hour period, and relationship threads.

SIX HARMONIESOx

THREE HARMONIESMonkey · Dragon

Together, the three branches form the Water trine.

SIX CLASHESHorse

An opposing-axis interaction.

SIX HARMSGoat

A traditional friction pattern.

These are branch relationships, not a promise of love or a prediction of separation.

03HOW THE THREADS WORK

Relationship does not mean verdict

SIX HARMONIES · YUKHAPA paired joining pattern

Two branches are traditionally grouped as a close one-to-one combination. It describes an available way of joining, not guaranteed romance.

THREE HARMONIES · SAMHAPA three-branch elemental pattern

Three branches form a wider directional group. Two members can suggest the pattern, but the complete trine contains all three.

SIX CLASHES · CHUNGAn opposing-axis pattern

Clash can show movement, friction, difference, or change. It does not automatically mean hatred, divorce, or failure.

SIX HARMS · HAEA subtle friction pattern

Harm describes a traditional branch interaction associated with strain or misunderstanding. Its importance depends on the rest of the chart.

04ZODIAC MATCH AND SAJU MATCH

A zodiac match is only the first layer

Comparing two year animals compares one branch from each person.

YEAR-ANIMAL MATCH2 branches compared

A quick cultural introduction. Useful for learning the relationship patterns, but too narrow for a full compatibility conclusion.

FULL SAJU COMPATIBILITYTwo complete charts

Considers the Day Masters, all available stems and branches, seasons, interactions, and timing without reducing either person to one animal.

Harmony is not a promise. Clash is not a sentence.

The lines show traditional relationships between branches. A careful reading still asks where they appear and what the complete charts support.
