Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use (Terms) govern your access to yoursaju.com and the POTEN mobile app (together, the Service). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You must also be legally able to enter into this agreement in your location.
Nature of the Service
Yoursaju combines a verified Manse-ryeok birth calculation with interpretive Saju, Five-Element and Tarot writing. Calculated chart data and interpretive content are separate: a chart may be calculated from the details supplied, while the reading remains symbolic and subjective.
The Service is for entertainment, cultural exploration and personal reflection. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency service.
Do not delay professional care or make a high-stakes decision solely because of a reading. No outcome, event, relationship, health result, financial return or level of accuracy in an interpretation is promised or guaranteed.
Your details and accounts
You are responsible for entering accurate birth details and reviewing the displayed calendar, time-zone and calculation precision. If birth time is unknown, the Service may withhold an Hour Pillar or ten-year-cycle result rather than guess it. We are not responsible for a result affected by incomplete or inaccurate information you provide.
POTEN and signed-in YourSaju features use an email one-time sign-in code. You are responsible for safeguarding that email and code, activity under your account, and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorised access. After you sign in, account profiles, saved or purchased readings, Petal balance and ledger, and welcome chat trials are stored on our servers. You may permanently delete that account in the POTEN app or from the Data & Account Deletion page.
One person may not impersonate another or create a chart for another person without an appropriate basis to use their birth details.
Paid features and renewal
Current status: prices and report formats shown on the site are product proposals for one-time deep readings. Monthly membership is no longer offered. Existing Stripe subscription webhooks remain only for any legacy subscription records.
When you purchase a paid reading:
- the checkout screen will show the price, currency, taxes if applicable and exactly what is included before purchase;
- one-time premium readings do not renew unless the checkout expressly says otherwise;
- any legacy renewing subscription (if still active from an earlier offer) may be cancelled before the next billing date to stop future charges, while access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid period; and
- we may change future prices with advance notice, but will not retrospectively change a completed purchase.
Cancellations and refunds
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a paid service has a major problem, is materially different from its description or otherwise fails an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy.
After paid features launch, change-of-mind refunds for digital content already supplied may not be available unless the checkout or applicable law says otherwise. Duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions, failed delivery and defective digital services will be reviewed fairly. Contact support@yoursaju.com with the order email and transaction reference—never a full card number.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively or to harm another person;
- attempt to bypass access controls, payment controls, rate limits or security measures;
- scrape, crawl, reverse engineer or automatically extract the Service except where the law expressly permits it;
- upload malicious code, interfere with operation or probe for vulnerabilities without written permission;
- copy, resell or commercially exploit readings, card art, illustrations, text or software without permission;
- download, remove or obscure a preview watermark, reconstruct print-quality artwork, use card images in a dataset or AI training, mint them as digital tokens, or redistribute them by any means; or
- present a reading as professional advice, a guaranteed prediction or an official historical practice where it is not one.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service or our legal rights.
Content and ownership
Yoursaju and its licensors own the Service and its original software, interface, writing, Joseon-inspired Tarot card art, Five-Element imagery, branding and other protected content. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes.
You retain rights in information you provide. You give us only the permissions reasonably necessary to process that information and deliver, support and secure the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. A reading purchased for personal use may be downloaded, printed and shared privately, but not resold, republished as a competing product or used to train or build another commercial content system without written permission.
Card images displayed on the website are limited, compressed and watermarked previews. Access to a preview does not grant a licence to reproduce, print, remove its watermark, distribute or commercially use the artwork. Print-production masters remain separate from the public Service.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve or change the Service. Preview features may be incomplete, unavailable or removed before launch. We will not label a payment, report or PDF feature as available until it is operational. For a paid feature, we will use reasonable care to avoid materially reducing what you have already purchased and will provide a remedy where required by law.
The Service may link to third-party services. Their content, availability and privacy practices are controlled by them, not by Yoursaju. We are not responsible for a third party except to the extent the law says otherwise.
Liability and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yoursaju is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on an interpretation, loss of opportunity, lost profits or loss of data. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where a guarantee, condition or warranty cannot be excluded but our liability may lawfully be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the affected service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction there may hear disputes, but this does not prevent you from relying on mandatory consumer protections or bringing a claim in another forum where applicable law allows it.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may update these Terms for legal, security or Service changes; material changes will be dated and communicated reasonably before taking effect.
